Everyone deserves a decent life and Fair Trade helps people achieve this
The Fairtrade Mark
is a registered independent product certification label and represents an alternative system of international trade. Fair trade provides a better deal for producers in developing countries. It creates opportunities for farmers and workers to improve their lives and communities, and to protect their environment
Fair Trading
means trading to the same ethical standards as laid down by the Fairtrade Foundation, but for products that are not certified by the Foundation ~ handicrafts, musical instruments, jewellery, etc.
Fair Trade
products are made by people who care about the quality of their work because we care enough to pay them a fair price. This small action makes little difference to the final price we pay, but it makes a huge difference to these Third World workers.
